In the Malabar region where I live, especially near the Western Ghats, the time when wild boars come out at night and the time when people return from playing turf football are almost the same. Football holds great importance for the people of Malappuram. Because these timings overlap, it has become quite common for wild boars to cause accidents by colliding with people returning after their games.

One of my close neighbors also lost his life after being hit by a wild boar while returning home after playing football. All these incidents came together in my mind and inspired the concept behind this artwork.
